No, I wasn't wondering at all. Monitors are calibrated differently, people see things differently.
Good for you for getting a calibrating device. They are pretty good items to have, but you've gotta use them with some regularity. Even though your monitor may be calibrated, and mine may be calibrated, if the monitors render colors differently, if ambient lighting is different, if monitor adjustments are different, then what is seen on the screen won't be the same. All that a calibrated monitor will guarantee (to a great extent) is that YOUR workflow is calibrated, not that your monitor and the next guys will show images on the screen in the same way. They can, of course, be a lot closer to one another than before calibration, however.
