If you want wide angle "on the cheap" you may want to try one of these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7525593990 I had one I used on my Olympus C5050 and the result was surprisingly good. Not the greatest of optics but for what you want to spend it'll let you play with ultrawide a bit. Mounted on your normal 50mm you have a 21mm fisheye/macro for around 50 bucks! (That leaves an xtra 50 for film!) ;-)
