Michael... You may want to consider the Vivitar Series 1 19-35/3.5-4.5. Comes in a KA/Ricoh mount that works just fine with the ZX-M, the ME Super, and other older Pentax bodies, but you won't want to mount it on a newer AF body: it will unforgivingly jam on the mount.
The optics and build quality are decent, but certainly not as good as the more expensive lenses. IIRC, it takes a 77mm filter.
