Exactly the reasons why I like the KM ;-)) Nothing annoying and distracting
in the viewfinder, no modes or switches to fiddle with,  no autoexposure to
deal with, no need for batteries ... just a pure, simple, straightforward
P&S camera for the technologically inept.
