Pat, I don't think it makes much difference wrt deleting, but when we had the NorCal get together Bruce (and maybe John or Godfrey) suggested that, instead of deleting the info on the cards, to just quickly reformat them in the camera. I'm unsure if there was a reason for that, or if it was a matter of habit. Since then I think I've read on the list a couple of times the reformatting in camera was a preference.
