Hi Shel, As I've read other list members write, and experienced myself, the Pentax auto focus will hunt/seek in low light situations. I use primarily zooms in the f/3.5 or slower range, so am unable to provide much information on faster lenses. I do have an SMC-F50mm/1.7 auto focus lens and when I do use it in low light situations, I hardly notice any hunting.
This seeking can be bypassed by manually focusing, of course, but is a skill I am still working on.
