Hello Shel,

I think at the 5n level, you have little control.  There is a tiny
button (recessed) that can be pressed to initiate rewind.  The film is
always wound into the cannister.

On the PZ-1p, you can set the camera to not rewind at film end -
essentially you have to manually initiate rewind.  You can also set it
to lead film leaders out.

I believe the MZ-S can do both of these also.
