the optical components division makes only cell phone camera and CD/DVD
player lenses. SLR camera lenses are made in the imaging products division.

They are going to a.) Stop producing so many P&S cameras, which they are
losing money on, and b.) Produce
more lens components in the optical components division and sell them,
(internally), to the imaging products division. This may be being done to
make the imaging products division look more profitable or less
profitable. That last is
your choice. I'm not making any guesses.
