it would be more interesting if Pentax would forecast that the imaging
products division would make money in the next 3 years instead of
continuing to lose money, which is their real forecast. the only reason it
stops at three years is that Pentax hasn't forecast any farther into the
future. in three year's time, everything will be frozen. no wiggle room
left. the only way to create profits then is to cut costs. playing in the
low end of the DSLR range means there aren't many costs and profits to
begin with.
Do you mean there are many costs and not many profits?
