True. Theres more of trade-off in developing than ever. In the old days a pro 
grade camera and a entry level one were widely different. In todays all 
electronic era, the camera electronics can be similar or the same all cross the 
range. Shutters are usually bought off-shelves from subcontractors and the 
digital processing electronics probably have much in common. I'll say you can 
easily built a pro grade camera on *istD parts. I'll bet also that the 645D 
uses *istD camera electronics.
