Well sure... but alot of us put our money where our mouth is. :)
To date, Pentax hasn't produced a DSLR that even tempts him, quote "They
need to do much better than the *istD's in order to tempt me...".
The idea that they will produce a high-end DSLR that satisfies those having
that longing, does not seem to be based on precedent, according to his
words.
Not try to be argumentative, just pointing out an incongruity.

You guys haven't been around quite as long probably. The use of the word
"never" is of course an exaggeration.
The point is this... How can Pal argue and assure us that Pentax is
capable of/will produce the high end DSLR products we want, when they
haven't produced one that he's willing to purchase?

Oh, the irony of it all...... Pal, the champion for all things Pentax,
never has anything good to say about the actual products. I, on the

hand, love the past products, but was tempted by the dark side due to

of (in my crystal ball) future products.
Pal has 35mm and 645 equipment as far as I know. What's the problem? That
he does not like APS?
