This is the third or fourth time I've had delivery problems with FedEx.

Funny you should mention shippers.
After all my rants about how much UPS sucks, I had to have a couple of
pieces of equipment shipped UPS from the USA.
This is my least desirable shipping option.
I had both items addressed to my wife at her law office, both items arrived
REALLY quickly (over night from one place on the eastern seaboard, another
was shipped Friday, delivered Wednesday.
Fast shipping, no damages, and interestingly, no onerous "brokerage fee"
that I have railed against in the past.
