Hi, all.
I can't believe it...
I have accepted the challenge to photograph a friend's wedding.
Last night we looked at a lot of bride portraits from a book, and she picked
out a good bunch that she liked for setting, mood, etc. Unfortunately for
me, she particularly liked some that were taken with IR film. I said I could
try, but that I haven't tried IR-film before. She said it was OK and smiled
in a way that I always have had trouble resisting... Good thing I was
already well married when I first met this gal...:-)
Here's the questions:
1. Can I trust the light-meter in the camera at all?
2. If 1., what ISO-setting is considered good rule of thumb?
3. Probably some filtering will be needed. Red #25 springs to mind. But
maybe that's a bit drastic? Are there others? -This is really the most
urgent question, because I probably have to place a special order for the
filters at the shop.
4. I have a bottle of Agfa Neutol developer. Any experiences on this
developer with HIE?
5. When I handle the film in the darkroom; is the emulsion sensitive to body
heat, eg. from my hands when reeling up the film on a spool?
Will be most grateful for any and all comments.
Jostein
