I wouldn't be surprised if hie/rodinal were the grainiest of any
film/developer combination available.

This is what I've used. However, my time for xtol 1:1 seems to be around
18 minutes, which is much longer then what Kodak recommends (8 to 12.5).
FWIW, I do know a couple of people who've gotten the same results.
Hmm. On looking at the Kodak sheet, they pretty much recommend agitating
the crap out of the film. Maybe that's my problem.
