Congratulations on all parties involved on what appears to be a more than adequate
resolution to this problem.
Maybe the following has been dealt with, but I recall from reading on of the
e-mails from the vendor that negative feedback was registered for the transaction.
I realize that the vendor only issued a refund after some amount of arm-twisting,
and even then probably did so reluctantly, however is there any way to retract the
negative feedback, or at least modify it to indicate that the situation has been
resolved? Even if he didn't send the refund "with a smile on his face", surely he
at least deserves that much, imho.
