A little experiment in low-light B&W.

*istD, SMC-M 50mm f2 at f2, 1/25, ISO 3200. Av mode.

A pretty girl with a pretty smile. What's not to like? In fact, it's
a gorgeous photo, IMHO. The graininess and softness have a very
film-like quality that I like.

Lovely.

cheers,

ISO 3200 on the D produces a lovely grain after B&W conversion, and the softness is from the lens (Great lens, but a little soft wide-open). It's becoming my favourite way to shoot with the D. Just need to get a A 50 f1.4 for the extra stop of speed.
