Thanks all, time to start saving my pennies. ;-)
I've been looking (drooling) at the 24-90, it's hard to
justify the cost because the range overlaps several of
my other 'better' lenses. And I really hate losing the
extra stop at the long end.
But I keep hearing such good things about it maybe it's
time to give it try.

How does the 28-105/3.2-4.5 stack up against the A35-105?
Has anyone had the opportunity to compare the two directly?
