I'll probably get a bagging for slagging off our revered Pentax kit but the 24- 90 is one lens that my partner once used on a Super A and that I sold on once I tested it on my DSLR. I'd definitely try one out first and if you will be using it wound out to the wide end do compare its sharpness to your other 24mm lenses.
