I hope you're right.
It's not the hypothesizing itself that concerns me, but the constant
repetition of it.
Anyway, I'll say no more on the subject as I am starting to sound like a
broken record myself. :-)

Honestly John. Come now, you ascribe us too much power.
Even if those of us holding a dim view of the future for Pentax were to
state our feelings on the front page of the New York Times, it would not
put Pentax out of business. Let us hypothesize that it did however.
Why would that be a problem for you? Because you don't want to lose
your existing investment in Pentax gear? This is exactly the same
reason the matter is being discussed, some of us are concerned about not
investing more in something that may be a dead end street or may not be
the way we wish to go.
