About three months ago I had exactly the same problem. I realised my usage of the camera was probably a great deal harder on the NiCad's than I thought. Supplied with new fully charged batteries and it's been like having a new camera ever since. All my potential misgivings about this camera before purchase have been unfounded in ownership. Malcolm
