Yeah. I have typically used Lithium batteries in my *ist D and my DS. As a matter of fact, I mostly use Li CRV3's. I know this is expensive, but the times I've used rechargeable batteries in digital SLRs (including my E-10) the cameras all developed erratic behavior at some point. I think these things are really sensitive to power supplies, and don't' simply shut down when power is low.
