That's what I thought... but I figured I'd ask to be sure I wasn't missing
something.

Done! I didn't realize I could do that, but there it is in B&W (page 96 of
the camera manual).... Thanks again! I'll see how that works. I'm headed
to an aquarium, and my goal is to minimize fireballs and glare from the
flash on the fishtanks. Being able to fire the FGZ from an angled seemed
pointless (at least in theory) if the OTF flash still went off... but
maybe this'll cure that. I think I'll pack the 500 FTZ and extension cord
just in case, though.
