One annoying thing about the software in the *istDS (and I presume the D too). The shooting mode resets after the camera shuts down. I use the 2s timer and the remote mode often. But I am getting onto 40, so I take my time with things. When the DS shuts down after I've fuffed around, it resets the shooting mode to single shot. Very annoying to have to set the function back.
Geek talk...600mm Sigma mirror lens with a (crappy Vivitar) 2x teleconverter. Missed every other shot because the camera kept resetting itself.
