Sorry Dave, but you'll need a lot more than basic Photoshop skills to
do that.
Do you have other shots from the same day with large areas of grass
you could clone from?
Even if you do, you're looking at hours and hours of detail work to
do that right. Personally, I wouldn't think of tackling this unless
the client has deep pockets, somewhere between $ 500 and $ 1000 deep
(US dollars, of course!).
