What's the consensus on using the DL instead of the D with all the "old lenses" (screwmount, M, K, A). Any different? I'm used to the D, but
these prices on the DL are so low!

I've had mine only a couple of weeks, but I've been using my SMC-A 50mm f/2.0 and SMC-A 28mm f/2.8 on it fairly regularly. I am quite impressed with the results from both. However, manual focus can be tricky - the viewfinder isn't too "manual-focus" friendly. When I've had problems focussing these lenses
it's been mainly in low light situations.

Part of the issue, Peter, is that the Pentax-A 50/2 is not as contrasty and sharp wide-open as some other lenses. It's more difficult to focus manually than, say, the A50/1.7 or FA35/2 by a good margin because of this, even the FA20-35/4 is a bit easier to focus manually.

The A50/2 is a darn good performer stopped down to f/4-5.6 or so, however.
