I did that I few days ago. Focusing at 10 inch (centre of the view finder) -
the 11 inch mark (further away from me) was sharp. I shot that test from
appr. 2-3 meters distance witrh the  FA 2.8/80-200mm.

An intersting, though mostly useless exercise is to take a picture of a
ruler that is at an angle to the camera, and see where the focus is in
relation to the chosen focus point.
