Well, Christian, I just don't see it that way, although considering the
rampant pedophilia paranoia that's infesting the US, I can accept that

may find it inappropriate. But abusive?! Sick? How many of the
self-righteous "guardians" of our children never had a sip or two of beer
or wine when they were kids, sneaked a smoke in the basement, had some
coffee, or stayed up past their bed time (I understand that's now
considered abusive).
My parents, who were abstemious, allowed me to try beer and hard liquor
when I was young. All the kids in our family had a sip of wine or beer
every now and then.
As I just responded to Godfrey: I agree with you and him. I was just
playing Devil's advocate and you KNOW times have changed since you and I
were kids. And it is just those 'self-righteous "guardians" of our
children' (and may I add self-appointed) that would consider it "abusive".
I don't agree with them. Trust me.
