Pheonix sells the exact same lens.  I haven't handled Pentax's version, but
the only differences I know of is that the Pentax has SMC, the Vivitar has
the lifesize adapter, Vivitar sells a manual focus version, and they look a
little different.  It's good optically, but the construction is a bit
cheap.  The front element is recessed into the barrel, so flare isn't much
of a problem.  I haven't had any compatibility problems with the manual
focus version on any of my cameras, with the ZX-M Tv and P work fine, and
with the KX I get the aperture readout in the finder.
