When I was looking for a Macro lens to match with my ZX-5n, I wound up buying this
lens. I was seriously considering the Pentax 50mm Macro f/2.8. After "discussing" it
here, I bought the Vivitar 100mm Macro AND the Pentax 50mm f/1.4 for less than the
50mm Macro would have cost. And the "Life Size Adapter" works on the 50mm f/1.4, too!
I have had the lens for a couple of months now and have been very happy with it. It
is VERY light which is a good (weight) and bad (durability). My Nikon friend saw it
and photographs taken with it and asked if one was available for his camera!
I'd buy it again.
