Just to put numbers to it... we're getting north-westerly gales at about 120km/h in open areas (max gust of 70k in the city). It's been 30 degrees C and 30% humidity today with clear blue sky all around.
In other words, a proper summer's day, at last. The washing was dry within about 5 seconds.
