I have been wondering whether it would be a good idea to get the A 2X-L
converter to go with my F* 600 F4. It's an expensive pup, and doesn't often
come up used. For photographing small birds, though, even 600 mm often
isn't enough.
These two pictures were shot within moments of each other, the top one with
no teleconverter, the bottom one using the 2X-L converter, on the istD.
