I think a camera should be judged for what it is and does and not how the manufacturer 
manages to market it. In spite of no marketing, the LX was brisk seller in its price 
segment.

But the Pentax MF cameras still enjoy a professional use percentage of above 50% and 
are popular in their market segments. Still, I agree that Pentax marketing, or more 
precisely the lack thereof, generally suck.
