I bought a manual-focus Sigma 400/5.6 a while back for US $75. The outside looks like it's been through a war, and it's non-APO glass, but it still works quite nicely. It's got a KA-mount, so it'll meter/stop down properly with a newer camera. Internal focusing and built-in lens hood as well. I've seen a few similar lenses go by on ebay for about the same amount, or not much more, and the listings were in English. :-)
