Bad call, I think that Sony's involvement will ensure that Konica-Minolta will
be in anything but retreat.

Except that KM is essentially out of the market right now. Sony will
make a splash when they finally arrive, but Pentax has a window of
opportunity to build solid market share with Samsung as Sony dithers.
I expect to see the Sony this fall, at the same time as the D2, with the
same sensor in a Maxxum 7D based body.
