Godfrey, I tried and noticed that if I increase gamma it decreases contrast and 5400K softened the brightness of the screen. I have a ViewSonic 19'' VP191b, and it doesn't have the gamma correction, so I have to go to the video card settings. I use glasses so do you think The decrease in contrast will help to decrease vision fatigue?

My normal settings are calibrated to gamma 1.8 and whitepoint 5500K. I notice that most folks using gamma 2.2 use whitepoint in the 6500K range.
