Godfrey, I tried and noticed that if I increase gamma it decreases contrast
and 5400K softened the brightness of the screen.
I have a ViewSonic 19'' VP191b, and it doesn't have the gamma correction, so
I have to go to the video card settings. I use glasses so do you think
The decrease in contrast will help to decrease vision fatigue?

Thanks,

Manuel

choice of gamma and whitepoint certainly affects how colors appear.

My normal settings are calibrated to gamma 1.8 and whitepoint 5500K.
I notice that most folks using gamma 2.2 use whitepoint in the 6500K range.
