Primitive camping was available right in the valley, but had virtually no amenities. Limited water and pit poilets was about it. As others have mentioned, better camping is available close by. There is an access road in the valley that is passable by regular vehicles. If you want to go off the beaten path, you have to hire a guide. The valley is effectively on private land, BTW, and the Navaho are pretty particular people when it comes to their sacred places. Monumant Valley is one of those places.
