This is all moot since there's no way my current budget allows for more
equipment. However, I've been worried about increased noise at higher
ISOs since it became apparent that the Pentax would be using the same
sensor as the Nikon. What I really want is a 10-13MP sensor with a 1.3
crop vs the current 1.5 crop of the APS-C sensors. That would give
about the same receptor density as the current sensor, which implies
similar noise characteristics. Add shake reduction, a larger buffer,
(allowing maybe 20-30 frames at 3-4 fps), add better weather sealing,
and throw in an aperture simulator and I'll sell my mother to get one.

When you're worried or in doubt,
Run in circles, (scream and shout).
