And with many long telephotos - the FA*80-200/2.8 comes to mind - the aperture ring is damned difficult to get at when you have the battery grip on the camera and/or you're using a tripod. This was one of the reasons I decided to sell my MZ-S a couple of months ago; it was just so inconvenient using the aperture ring with several of the lenses I use a lot and the MZ-S had a single-dial control system.
