What is the crop factor for a 6x7 lens (is > it 4x)?
Crop factor compared to what? A 300mm 6x7 lens will look the same (through the K10D viewfinder and to the sensor) as a 300mm K-mount lens. A 35mm frame is 1.5x the size of the "APS-C" sensor in the K10D. A frame of 6x7 film is (approximately) 2x the size of a 35mm frame, which would make it about a 3x crop factor going from 6x7 to a K10D. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
