You don't have to program in the focal length of every lens to get shake 
reduction, only the A and K mount class lenses.  If you have F lenses or 
later you have no problems.  If I remember correctly the display for 
entering the lens length shows a range.  Maybe it'll be acceptable 
within that range if you take normal care in holding the camera steady.
