My current workflow uses the Adobe DNG converter to copy the PEF files
off the camera card, and compress them on-the-fly. So I save a copying
step in there. I'm wondering if there's a reason why I should keep the
original PEF files (*istDS2) around. I've been going back later, and
copying them off the card, usually while the computer is doing
something else, like generating PSD files out of Camera Raw.
