Agreed. Although my flash shoe adapter wasn't all that much. About  
twenty bucks if I remember corectly. A Promaster I think. It works. I  
leave it on the end of my studio flash PC cord. That way it's still  
just a one move attachment. But, yeah, the camera should have had a  
PC connection.
