What about the art form called motion picures? There has been about 25,000 of them made and quite a few of those are worth seeing properly. You simply dont get the beautiful reproduction of the best cinematography with the old ntsc format. I dont watch hardly any "TV SHOWS" either but just for films alone, both HD broadcasts of them and on DVD, a HDTV is a no brainer at todays really cheap prices. jco

I don't have a television. Too bloody expensive for what it offers. You know the guy from 'a fish called Wanda' who does not want to be called stupid? I have that sensation with 90% of television. It treats you as if you are seven years old or retarded. Apparently fine for most people, but I'm not paying for that. Anyway, upgrading isn't quite possible as I have nothing to upgrade from... I'm not particularly interested in sports. For soccer championships and olympics I drive to my father: more than twice the fun that way. For movies I go to a cinema. Try it sometimes, the sound and image quality there really blows you away, and as a bonus, they have a bar ;o) Regards, Lucas > JCO > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Lucas Rijnders > Sent: Sunday, December 17, 2006 2:32 PM > To: Pentax-Discuss Mail List > Subject: Re: It's snowing in hell --OT > > > On Sun, 17 Dec 2006 19:56:59 +0100, J.
