Sandisk sells Ultra II 4G SDHC cards packaged with a reader. They're available from B&H Photo and other suppliers. BH listing: <http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home? In my testing with the K10D, this proves to be quite a fast card although not quite up to the speed of the Transcend 150x or Sandisk Extreme III models. http://homepage.mac.com/godders/Pentax-DS-150x-timing/ However, in use it's more than good enough for my needs. I currently use 2G Sandisk Ultra II SD cards alongside the Transcend 150x cards and have not run into any issues where card speed proved a limiting factor as yet. Until there is an update that allows me use of the Epson P2000 with SDHC cards, I'll likely stick with 2G SD as my baseline. Prices are well under what SDHC costs at present. I presume that Sandisk will soon release an Extreme III version in SDHC and those have been reported to be even faster than the Transcend 150x in the K10D. And, btw, the SD 2.0 spec (SDHC) enables cards from 4 to 32 Gigabytes capacity. Godfrey -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List [email protected] http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net
