They're more reachable but still out of the range I want to spend at  
this point. I don't shoot enough film to make it worth the expense. I  
would have gone that way a few years ago if the gains from DSLR  
captures hadn't made it clear to me that for my photography film was  
now a second citizen in capture media. I debate even the wisdom of  
that $500 for the V700 when the 2450 does as well as it does.
