This one does not make sense. If paypal accepted and authorized the credit card payment, they have no right to reclaim the funds from you, the proper way is they are supposed to refund the person who's card got stolen OUT OF THEIR OWN POCKET, not your's and go after the thief. You are not responsible for paypal's inept approval of stolen credit cards. That is up to paypal and the credit card companies to cover in the event of fraud, not you. If this was a REQUEST not to ship the item, thats OK, but if you already shipped it, they would not be able to reclaim the funds back from you because of thier mistake in accepting and approving a stolen CC. jco

I received an email from the buyer, shortly after his paypal payment had landed, giving delivery details. As it happened, I was away from home and when I arrived back a few days later, I prepared to package up the laptop when I got an email from paypal saying the payment had been sent from a stolen credit card account and they were reclaiming my / their money. I'd check the small print of the payment protection (it only covers you for despatch to certain countries) or give it a day or two before shipping.
