I've used flash a very small amount of the time in the past decade, but given the choice between a good ISO hotshoe/wireless trigger system and a PC terminal with a bunch of cords, I know which one I'd much rather deal with. My flash needs are serviced very satisfactorily by a Sunpak 383 with ProMaster cable attachment and a pair of Paterson EFlash Panels with their built-in slave triggers. And a flash meter, of course. I bought the ProMaster dedicated cable on the expectation that some day I'll buy an AF540FGZ or its descendant.
