True. I'm still looking for a great infra red flash trigger - for rmy flash strobes. I used to have the one, that looks just like a cube. But I lost it (someone stole it, I believe) and I can't seem to find a good replacement, which also will work, regardless of the direction I fire it. BTW: Have you guys noticed, that an SD card will load the images into a computer MUCH faster than a CF card? In only a fraction of the usual time, actually! You can diable the TTL > on the > Metz by taping over the small contacts on the shoe adaptor I've used flash a very small amount of the time in the past decade, but given the choice between a good ISO hotshoe/wireless trigger system and a PC terminal with a bunch of cords, I know which one I'd much rather deal with. My flash needs are serviced very satisfactorily by a Sunpak 383 with ProMaster cable attachment and a pair of Paterson EFlash Panels with their built-in slave triggers. And a flash meter, of course. I bought the ProMaster dedicated cable on the expectation that some day I'll buy an AF540FGZ or its descendant.
