I never suggested mounting the body to the lens the way
described for BAYONET mount lenses, it makes no sense
in that context, I was referringt to mounting the body
to the lens with screwmount lenses only. I am not
saying nor did I ever say the screwmounting system
is better, I just stated that the time difference to change
lenses is not that great from one system to another
( I have and use both too ). And for those who mistakenly
think that K mount is superior in every respect, they
are wrong and I was just pointing out some things better
about the screwmounting system. And I dont agree its
faster PERIOD, in low light or no light, the screwmounting
system is faster and easier than the kmounting system
because you dont have to line the lens index to the body
index to mount the lens which requires sight or feel with
the K mounting system and now with the latest bodies and
lenses you may have neither in low light situations.

FYI it's recommended to do the same with bayonet mount, especially if
using a
tripod. It's a lot faster, easier and less risk prone with bayonet.
Period.
I've been doing this for 30 years now, not that it has any relevance to
the
actual process.
