Get yourself a Sandisk ImageMate 12-in-1 reader. Very fast with both  
SD and CF. Supports SDHC too. Only $25.

I don't know what means ... did you mean USB 2.0?

I don't really care too much one way or the other between SD or CF. I  
find SD cards easier to handle and use, but by how much is  
insignificant. I still have some Memory Stick PRO and have the one xD  
card for the Fuji F30 ... xD is the one that annoys me because it's  
not only a zero-gain value over SD but it came out afterwards and is  
slower, more expensive. Dumb.
